Feature

(1) Pump moves and oil suction are two separation system, it won't contaminating grease.
(2) Typically used in workshops, service stations, fleet maintenance, mining, agriculture, armed forces, construction, trains, etc.
(3) The pump is made of aluminum alloy by forging.

(4) It can hold 200 liters (50 gallons) for each country.

Usage

(1) General 00#~3# grease all can be infused into smoothly.
(2) Included FP501 follower plate, can be used with higher viscosity grease or cold areas.

What do the numbers on greases mean?
We often hear people say "No. 1 grease," "No. 2 grease," but what do they actually mean?
✅ Common Grades and Applications: The most common grades in industry are #00, #0, #1, #2, and #3. 

✅ Grade 1 Grease (#1): Softer, with better fluidity, commonly used in low-temperature environments or central lubrication systems (easy to pump). 

✅ Grade 2 Grease (#2): Medium consistency (similar to peanut butter), the most versatile grade, suitable for most bearings and mechanical parts. 

✅ Grade 3 Grease (#3): Harder, with better sealing and anti-leakage properties, commonly used in high-temperature or vertically mounted bearings to prevent lubricating oil from dripping due to gravity or vibration. 

✅ Origin of the Name: Commonly known as "butter" or "cow butter" in Taiwan. 

✅ Reason: Named for its semi-solid, greasy texture and mostly milky white or light yellow appearance, resembling butter.

 

How do I determine if a pressure plate is needed?

 

✅The key to determining this is the NLGI consistency grade of the lubricating oil. 

Proper use of the pressure plate ensures smooth oil extraction and prevents the pump from running dry.

 

✅NLGI #00, #0 (semi-flow, extremely soft): No need to use

The oil has good fluidity and can flow to the pump inlet on its own.

✅NLGI #1 (soft, paste): Add as needed depending on environmental conditions. Generally, it is not required.

Special Note: If operating in winter or low-temperature environments, the oil may harden due to temperature drop. It is recommended to install a pressure plate to maintain a stable oil supply.

✅NLGI #2 (Medium consistency): Must be used
This grade of oil has lost its fluidity to automatically flow to the suction inlet. Please be sure to install a pressure plate to avoid creating voids (air locks) that could cause pump malfunction.

✅NLGI #3 (High viscosity, firm texture): Requires increased pressure support.
If a regular pump is difficult to extract the material, it is recommended to use an HV series pressure pump, which uses a pneumatic cylinder to apply strong downward pressure.
