How to Choose the Right Air-Powered Grease Pump?

OIL GRADE
How to Choose Accessories Based on Grease Viscosity?
#0
High Fluidity

Grease with good fluidity that flows smoothly at both normal and low temperatures, ensuring stable and consistent dispensing.

✓ No Follower Plate required — saves additional cost
#1
Medium Viscosity

Moderate viscosity grease that may harden in cold temperatures, reducing dispensing performance during winter months.

⚠ Follower Plate recommended to ensure smooth dispensing in cold weather
#2+
High Viscosity

Grease rated #2 or above has very poor fluidity, commonly used in heavy machinery and high-load equipment. Gravity alone is insufficient for proper dispensing regardless of grade.

✕ Follower Plate is required to concentrate grease toward the pump inlet for proper operation.
