How to determine if a pressure plate is needed?

How do I determine if a pressure plate is needed?
✅The key to determining this is the NLGI consistency grade of the lubricating oil.  Proper use of the pressure plate ensures smooth oil extraction and prevents the pump from running dry.

✅NLGI #00, #0 (semi-flow, extremely soft): No need to use The oil has good fluidity and can flow to the pump inlet on its own.
✅NLGI #1 (soft, paste): Add as needed depending on environmental conditions. Generally, it is not required. Special Note: If operating in winter or low-temperature environments, the oil may harden due to temperature drop. It is recommended to install a pressure plate to maintain a stable oil supply.
✅NLGI #2 (Medium consistency): Must be used This grade of oil has lost its fluidity to automatically flow to the suction inlet. Please be sure to install a pressure plate to avoid creating voids (air locks) that could cause pump malfunction.
✅NLGI #3 (High viscosity, firm texture): Requires increased pressure support. If a regular pump is difficult to extract the material, it is recommended to use an HV series pressure pump, which uses a pneumatic cylinder to apply strong downward pressure.
✅If you require extraction of high-viscosity oils, please contact our technical team directly.
